I consider myself a free spirited, self-taught folk artist, seeking to convey joy, laughter, and soul through mixed media pieces that are truly a representation of my inner landscape. New works spring from a concept or inkling more than an image in my head and I forge into the unknown, paintbrush in hand. My journey as a professional artist these last 10 years has taken me from paper mache to tempera, gouache, and paper. As I carry on I rely on a deep reservoir of faith, abundant curiosity and unwavering lightheartedness to produce paintings that are fresh, all together original and bring a smile. I am fueled by my Laughter Yoga practice which you can read more about at www.youvegottobekidding.net
